My name is Sharon Rowe and I was a BBC journalist for 20 years before I decided to turn my love of dogs into a way of life. I already had 2 rescued dogs - Bengi, a 14 year old Collie-Cross from the RSPCA and Marty, 9, a Lab-Collie who came from The Last Chance Animal Sanctuary. My home, with its acre plus field, all fenced, pond and surrounding countryside is an ideal location to offer other dogs a home from home holiday. Over the past few years I have built up a happy base of customers (and owners) who come back time and time again....you can tell they are happy as most do not want to leave!
My partner Dave helps look after the dogs. They spend a lot of time playing and relaxing in the back garden and field, providing the weather is okay. The dogs swim and paddle in the pond and are completely safe as the entire field and garden are fenced. There are lots of safe countryside walks which we do at least 3 times a day for the dogs that are up to it.

Above is Marty with one of his friends who comes for holidays here. They come in and watch tv with me in the evenings, and some do creep up onto the sofa with me.
On the left is Neo, a Springer Spaniel, running back to the house for dinner after a swim in the pond.
